Why pre-vetting service?

We have successfully carried out pre-vetting inspections of various oil, chemical and gas tankers according to the OCIMF SIRE VIQ (Oil Companies International Marine Forum Vessel Inspection Questionnaire) and CDI SIR (Chemical Distribution Institute Ship Inspection Report) risk assessment programmes, as well as assisted in the preparation of vessels for major vetting inspections, including CDI inspections, ensuring compliance with the operational and statutory standards and the highest scores for the inspected vessels.

We also offer the following audits to get your vessel ready for vetting:

  • External Navigational Safety Audits are crucial performance indicators which enhance the internal audit system by providing an independent oversight. They are carried out as independent safety audits on board and in port according to the TMSA (Tanker¬†Management and Self-Assessment) guidelines. External navigational safety audits provide the assistance necessary to the ship operators in order to improve their management system and meet the demanding requirements of TMSA.
  • Internal Audits are carried out on a regular basis within the organisation, aimed at assessing the level of compliance with the requirements of ISM (International Safety Management) and ISPS (International Ship and Port Facility Security) codes. Internal audit is necessary to evaluate the effectiveness of organisational processes and procedures, as well as to provide optimal solutions for potential problem areas. Moreover, internal audits fully comply with regulatory requirements of the Annual Internal ISM/ISPS Audit.
